Landscape Designer - Intermediate

Landscape designers design the aesthetic layout of parks and green areas around private and public places. They can also be hired privately to design the landscaping of homes and gardens. Landscape architects also may work in the environmental field designing conservation lands, such as wetlands, and participating in historical restoration endeavors. A landscape architect will work with clients to meet the vision they have for their outdoor space. They can choose to specialize in specific fields such as theme parks, water parks, golf courses, zoos or equestrian park design. Landscape designers often work and collaborate with engineers, architects, surveyors, community planners, biologists, foresters and other professionals.
